The World’s Best-Preserved galleon from the 1600s.
Commissioned by King Gustav II Adolf, the Vasa was considered to be the most powerful war galleon during the 1600s, not only in the Baltic Sea, but in the world.
But just 20 minutes after into its maiden voyage The Vasa capsized and sank into the Stockholm Harbor on August 10, 1628, and rested peacefully on the seabed of the Baltic Sea for 333 years.
The Vasa Museum is one of the Top 10 must-see museums in the World.
